Kedentransservice JSC participated in the Kazakhstan-China International Business Forum in Shanghai.

From July 15 to 16, the management of Kedentransservice JSC, as part of a delegation from Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company, participated in the international business forum «Kazakhstan-China: Transport and Logistics Cooperation and E-Commerce – New Technologies, New Opportunities» in Shanghai. The forum was held as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the People’s Republic of China.

During the business program, the management of Kedentransservice JSC held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of leading Chinese transport, logistics, and investment companies. The parties discussed the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, the implementation of joint investment projects, digitalization of the industry, and the expansion of cooperation within international transport corridors.

Following the forum, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and SPSI Cloud Port Development Group Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to implement joint investment projects to create modern agricultural hubs with digital technologies in the cities of Kokshetau and Chengdu. This project will be implemented with the direct participation of Kedentransservice JSC.

Furthermore, Kedentransservice JSC and China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement covering projects to reconstruct terminal infrastructure at the Altynkol and Dostyk stations, develop terminal capacity, and enhance the transit potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The signed agreements confirm the consistent development of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China and open up new opportunities for the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, the development of modern transport and logistics infrastructure, and the strengthening of the country’s transit potential.
