As you know, the grain yield in Kazakhstan over the past few years has been around 20 million tonnes per year. During the period of seasonal great demand for transportation of grain products to the market, such leading operators of transport and logistics industry as Kedentransservice JSC and KTZ Express JSC come to the aid.

There is a trend of containerization in the modern cargo transportation market. The advantages of containerization are convenience, timely removal and delivery of cargo and reliability in terms of a high degree of safety.

For example, within the first 10 months of 2020 the market for grain transportation by rail is estimated at 5.3 million tonnes. The volume of container transportation of grain and grain legume crops was 0.016 million tonnes, and their share in container transportation was 0.3%. .

Of course, the scheme of transportation of grain products begins from the grain regions of Kazakhstan (Kokshetau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North-Kazakhstan region), from where these products are loaded into the provided rolling stock of Kedentransservice JSC, including containers in the direction of China, Southeast Asia and Central Asia.

— additional charges for dispatch organization, charges at Alashankou/Khorgos station.

Kedentransservice JSC actively carries out transportation of agricultural products in the direction of China, as a result, since October of this year, flour-loaded trains from Kostanay in the direction of Alashankou to Dostyk station reached in just 3 days» — said Victor Fedotov, General Director of Kedentransservice JSC.

As for the direction of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, Dmitry Abdullayev, General Director of KTZ Express JSC said: «KTZ Express JSC is the coordinator of the International Trans-Caspian Consortium and we are maximally interested in creating favourable transit conditions on the route. The work that has been completed in recent years has already created a commercial advantage for the Trans-Caspian route. Today we can offer a client transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, from Eastern China to Turkey, in 14-15 days in organized container trains, in compliance of parameters of safety and speed and competitively priced».
