“Kedentransservice” JSC plans to increase park’s volume in management more than 3 times —up to 1 thousand units in 2012

JSC «Kedentransservice», which owns the largest network of railway terminals in Kazakhstan (17 freight yards), plans to increase the volume of the fleet under management more than three times in 2012 — up to 1 thousand units.

The company started operating rolling stock in 2011. To date, there are 325 railcars under the management of JSC «Kedentransservice». In addition, the Company has its own locomotive fleet (more than 30 units) and motor vehicles.

The target business model of JSC «Kedentransservice» is a universal integrated logistics company in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. This model involves the provision of a full range of logistics services in the segments of container, bulk, and general cargo, including oversized heavy cargo. The core of the company’s business will be forwarding and integrated logistics services in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as operating rolling stock in this territory.

In March 2012, the company «Kedentransservice» will open a representative office in China to attract additional cargo from China to Kazakhstan. It is also planned to open a representative office in Uzbekistan in order to coordinate activities and attract customers in Central Asia.
