KTZ: The 100,000th Container Dispatched from Xi’an via the TITR

02.06.2025

The 100,000th container (in TEU equivalent) has been dispatched from the Chinese city of Xi’an as part of a container train along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The train includes 50 containers carrying electronics, furniture, consumer goods, and other products.

This milestone shipment is the result of joint efforts by JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy», China Railway, and the Xi’an Port Group (PRC).

Since its launch in February 2024, the Kazakhstan-China terminal in Xi’an has handled over 200,000 tons of cargo and has become an important logistics hub in international trade.

The dispatch of the 100,000th container from this terminal confirms the high demand for the route and its influence on TITR transport, as well as the effectiveness of cooperation between logistics partners of the two countries.
