JSC «Kedentransservice» participates in launching a new regular route for exporting Ural goods to China via Kazakhstan.
A regular route for container transportation in open-top railcars has been launched from the Ural region of Russia to China, transiting through Kazakhstan. The project was officially initiated at the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM.
The project is implemented by the logistics operator «LOGOPER» in collaboration with JSC «Kedentransservice,» which serves as a key partner in ensuring seamless cargo movement and handling on the Kazakh segment of the route.
The new transportation technology involves loading export containers into empty open-top railcars at the TLC «Uralsky,» which become available after coal unloading. The trains with containers are sent to Astana, where they are reloaded onto fitting platforms for further shipment to China. Empty open-top railcars return to the coal mines for reloading.
This route optimizes logistics processes, reduces empty railcar mileage, and increases the efficiency of rolling stock utilization.
